Part Detail
When you select a part from the Part Library, or by using the search bar, the Part Detail window is displayed. The window in Boltline for the part details is labeled with the P/N.
Boltline uses an autosave model that continuously saves changes as you type. To edit part metadata, simply click on the desired field, make your changes, and Boltline automatically saves them. Validation rules are enforced during each save, so if an error is detected, like an incorrect or duplicate part number, Boltline will display a message to prompt correction. Each part number in Boltline must be unique, and duplicates are not allowed.
If you need to enter your parts into the Boltline library, see Part Creation.
Add an Image
To attach an image for your part, click the image placeholder (or image, if one exists) to display the upload window. Choose an image for the part and voila! The part image is uploaded and saved. All image types are supported.
