Create Workflow Card

Creating a workflow card from an inventory item links that item to a workflow so you can track work (e.g. inspection, rework, or NCR) in one place.

From the Inventory Item Detail window:

  • Click the Workflows button (top of the page).
  • Choose the workflow where you want to track this item.
  • The Create Workflow Card dialog opens with the current inventory item already linked.

In the dialog:

  • Enter a Title and select a Status (required).
  • Optionally set Team, Start Date, Due Date, Assignees, Labels, or other related inventory, parts, or orders.
  • The related section shows the inventory item you started from; you can add more related items if needed.
  • Click Submit to create the card.

You are then taken to the workflow board. The new card is linked to this inventory item for traceability.

Any work performed on the card is tracked and visible from the inventory item’s workflow-related views and from the Workflow Cards section.
