Mark this Item as Planned

Use Mark as Planned when the item is not yet physically built—for example, it is on order or planned for future assembly. The item stays in the system with planned status until work is completed.

From the Inventory Item Detail window:

• Click Edit.
• Select Mark as Planned to set the item as planned.

The action runs immediately; no confirmation dialog is shown.

To remove planned status after the item is built or received:

• Click Edit, then select Remove Planned Status.

tip

Planned items are distinct from physical inventory and help you track what is on order or not yet built.
