Teamcenter Integration

Import parts, BOMs, and metadata from Siemens Teamcenter into Boltline to streamline your part management workflow.

Prerequisites

Before configuring the Teamcenter integration, ensure you have:

  • Admin Access: Organization Owner or Admin role in Boltline
  • Teamcenter Access:
    • Teamcenter server URL and credentials
    • API access permissions for the connecting user
    • Network connectivity from Boltline to your Teamcenter server

Configure Teamcenter Integration

  • Navigate to Organization > Integrations.
  • Locate Teamcenter in the list of available integrations.
  • Click Configure.
  • In the Connection section, click Connect to initialize the integration.
  • Once connected, the configuration fields will appear.
  • Fill in the required configuration fields:

Revision Validation PatternNoIf enabled: specifies how revisions should be validated. Options: Letter or number (default), Single letter (A-Z), Two-digit number (00-99). To enable this feature, contact Customer Success team at support@boltline.com.
  • Click Update Configuration to save your settings.
Success!

Your Teamcenter integration is now configured. You can begin importing parts into Boltline.

Viewing Imported Parts

Once configured, parts are automatically imported from Teamcenter. To view imported parts:

  1. Navigate to Parts Library in the left sidebar.
  2. Use the Category filter and select Imported from Teamcenter PLMXML.
